DefSec Innovation Hub's Cognitive Warfare: Battlefield of Tomorrow

Dear all,

On behalf of DefSec Innovation Hub we would like to invite you to participate in the newly announced ideathon, organised in direct collaboration with NATO, under the title Hack the Mind. Hack the Brain. Help Us Understand. The event focuses on the topic of cognitive warfare from a broad perspective, encompassing humanistic, technical, scientific, technological and other sectors with an emphasis on clearly defining the field, mapping out its methods, identifying potential risks, uncovering the connections between technology and the human mind, finding technological solutions and more.

If you or your colleagues are interested in the topic and wish to contribute to the discussion, please don't hesitate and join us! The objective of the event is to open a society-wide debate on cognitive warfare and contributions from all relevant sectors and points of view are very welcome.

The event offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the beginnings of shaping the topic. Thanks to direct collaboration with NATO, your projects will be used as inputs when creating strategic documents that will serve for determining the future direction of the Alliance activities and will enable you to establish new contacts with leading experts in the defence and security industry.

The deadline for submitting of your contributions in essay or video format is the 10th October 2020 and the announcement of finalists and winners is scheduled for the third week in October 2020.

Please find more information on the event website: https://www.hackthemind.cz/en/

Thank you in advance for participating and sharing of the event and information with anyone who might be interested to contribute.

Best regards,

Kristina Soukupova, PhD
