Canadian Defence and Security Network partners are invited to attend a presentation and discussion with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on the topic of “NATO and the Security Implications of Climate Change,” as well as other issues confronting the NATO alliance over the next decade. The event will take place on Monday, 28 September 2020, 10:00-11:00 EST (16:00 in Brussels) and can be accessed here: https://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/events_67375.htm

The event, sponsored by the University of Copenhagen and NATO Public Diplomacy Division and moderated by Carnegie Europe Director, Dr. Rosa Balfour, will bring together students from 10 educational institutions from across the alliance to engage in a dialogue with Secretary General Stoltenberg. As host of Canada’s long-standing Model NATO conference, Carleton is one of 10 educational institutions invited to participate.

CDSN partners are encouraged to share this invitation with interested students and researchers at your institutions.
